Lovely bubbly!

Goodness me I have some very talented blog and whole-life friends!

Lovely Badger's fab post about living with tourette's has been picked up by the BBC's disability blog Ouch. OMG! I'm living with a famous Badger!

And gorgeous Caroline has her very real very actual very tasty looking book in her hands today! It looks amazing, you can preorder the hardback from amazon, or go into a real life book shop and pick it up on the 15th June.

Talented Brumcunian wrote a left-handed ode of congratulations to Badger, which I have paraphrased here :)

Bad ass Badger bags great award!

Anyone else winning awards? Having books published? Being extra special?

Phew! What a lot to celebrate :)

Well, it's all happening in the blogworld isn't it? Hardbacks, BBC, - just too exciting!

Hee! I wonder if I will get to meet Pete Bennett. Oh that would be lovely. So lovely.. :)

The Scottish Tourettes Society are going to print me in their newsletter. Well not me, not actually me, because.... well i dont know how you would do that. But they are going to print what I have written.

Caroline is the cleverest. I want to touch the book.... and then read it. No doubt I will probably smell it as well. Just to check the ink.

Ms M - it is! it is! very exciting indeed :)

Badger - Oh I do hope you get to mete lovely Pete from Big Bruvva. I know he would like you :)

What a clever Badger - being printed (ok, not you, your words) in the newsletter. That will help lots of little twitchy kids you know!

I see what you mean about Carolines book looking nice to touch - not long now at all!

JJ - welcome :) Yes, I have been over to Mahts now and Oh My Goodness! I am rather overwhelmed. I'm glad you liked it - I've no idea what I'm supposed to say in these situations having not had it happen before. Thanks is probably a good start :)

Badger... if you get to meet Pete you have to take me as your guest so I can coax him away from that wailing banchy Nicky.

Books, blogs, mates obsessed with the left hand side of the keyboard, life laundrys. What a diverse little Noah's arc of mates you have stray! :o)

What about congrats for you, I've just been across to the Moon Topples blog and it looks like someone has won First Prize for the short story they didn't think they could write.

Well done there should be no stopping you now.

Thank you Sheepish! I do recall you bah-ing encouragingly in my direction quite a lot :)

Cheers Beth - I'm kind of totally blown away, especially by all the lovely things people have said! I thought the variety of the stories was amazing - so many different styles and threads within 500 words.
