lol, good question Lorianne! Perhaps ... a real life version of the planet-pop game - match each real-life berry to the shade in the photo.
Fiona, you made me wonder whether autumn does this deliberately ... a sort of compensation for the reducing light and the decay amassing around us. I very nearly titled this post "Red or Dead" because of exactly that contrast. It's as if the leaves are the most alive in the final moments before they give up.
