miracles of modern technology
i am blogging from a touchscreen tv thing next to my bed in hospital, just because i can!
i am poorly sick as lovely caroline says.
we have talked on google chat!
don't worry, no key parts of me have been damaged and this is just a medical ward. girls-insides-itis is the diagnosis so far. ouch.
i am getting in touch with my inner wimp ... trying to ignore my Be Strong driver.
meantime beautiful badger is on map duty.
they don't allow flowers, so please send hugs and kisses instead xx

I hope you do get well soon and find some nice things to do there if that is possible xx
As I drive down the M4 tonight, at every junction I will be thankful that your genius was never put to work on the roads....

Let's see if the little box of lights by the bed can bring a smile to your face.
Get well soon sweetie pie xxxxx
Hugs and kisses,

get well soon. from a well wisher
Oh gosh, poor you. Hope you feel better soon and perhaps they can fix these ongoing problems. Lots of love.
Poor you. Get better soon. Girl-insides-itis, phew! I'm I so glad to be a boy or what!
x♥x
Hope you are feeling better soon and are not in for long. Thanks again for your help.
I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Here's some get-well flowers the hospital might allow!

Hope you get back on your feet again soon, Stray. Feathery hug x
oops, the stems were supposed to be under the flowers -- they were ok on my page but morphed a bit in transit!
Hello Stray. Hope they're giving you decent hospital food and that you have plenty of people bringing you exciting clandestine sweets/choccies and magazines. (It's always a perfect excuse for reading trashy magazines on the basis that "they're the only thing lying around!"
Get well soon!
oh you are all lovely!
i feel like i've had loads of visitors to my bed :)
they have finally found a level of drugs that is killing the pain without making me puke - so i mostly feel floaty now :)
hoping to go home tomorrow, then back on the 9th for them to fix me!
i love blogging. you're all making me feel loads better!
bobo, im not sure boy-bits-itis is any nicer!
sx
Oh no. Poor you! I hope you feel better soon and that they release you tomorrow.
Take care of yourself.
dear stray, sorry you are going through this, bobo sent me on a cyber hospital visit, take good care x
this virtual visitors lark is perfect! i can suddenly drop off mid-sentence and no body minds :)
we don't have to have hushed conversations for fear of waking sick old ladies, and the nurses haven't thrown you all out at 8 pm!
thank you so much for visiting, nmj + rr, i feel very cared about :)
all i need now is a blog widget that can send real hugs!
xx
Hey babes, I'm so sorry you are poorly sicky and in pain. Really I am. You are making me laugh with your funny typos at hospital visiting though! I know you really really are poorly sicky if you can't be arsed correcting them. Speak soon xxxx
*big jugs*
(oops another typo. Can't be arsed though...)
oh ms m! you have been very lovely visiting me :) my visitors list is impressive - therapists, authors, a duck and a badger!
i shall be glad to get back to my real keyboard!
xxx
Dear dear Stray, so sorry you're poorly. Please be as wimpish as possible so you can get the most effective and efficient and caring attention possible, medically and every other way. Sending you roomfuls of virtual flowers and hugs and chocolates.
I wish I could give you real hugs. :(
I have been sat right next to you... Yet I dont know how I am supposed to offer or bend my arms when the bed seems to engulf you. I am so sorry. So long as you know in my head I am hugging you really really tight, and when I leave I have a little practice with my arms yet it still feels alien. Maybe we can practice when you are home. :)
Something now to make you laugh though - when I left you today I got a nerve trapped in my left bottom cheek going down the corridor, it hurt so bad that I lost control of my leg and fell into the wall, a lovely nurse asked if I was ok. Bless. I had a good flex and it seemed to come back all ok.
Badger x

Lots of love, dear Stray. Hope it all clears up soon.
natalie - another famous visitor to my bedside! thank you for the virtual flowers, it is like a jungle in here!
badger, bless you. perhaps your arms need a good flex too? i imagine the nurses were quite bemused!
dale, lovely to see you here :) thank you for the wishes, oxoxoxo for you too!

Stray! Here is another virtual visitor. So sorry to hear you are under the weather, and I hope all will heal very quickly.
Best and warmest to you,
Edith
P.S. The previous post was moi, messing up the "publish comment" function - apologies.
thanks bitterroot - your comment screw up actually gave me a good giggle - it was forwarded to my gmail and I spent a minute or so trying to figure out what "lqrcpx" meant and feeling like I must be drugged up beyond the point of acronym recognition!
I am home now, feeling much better, especially as the football alllll went so nicely :) I am gutted to realise my surgery is the same day as the Man U - Chelsea match! Thank goodness it was practically decided today, eh Badger? ;)

Hey Stray - sorry to hear you're poorly. Get well soon.
Hello Ms Pants! - I frequently thought of you, well, more specifically your posts about the horrors of homerton hospital, whilst I was lying in my quiet, spacious, clean, comfortable ward, with lovely other patients who definitely weren't sneaking out to chase the dragon. I think next time you have an urgent medical problem you should really hot foot it down to surrey before you keel over. It's only a tenner on the train from Waterloo ;)
Caroline, Badger and Ms M did a fab job of looking after me, and Bobo even popped in to give me therapy.
I'm home and doing that classic thing of feeling a bit ok, doing something that seems like a small task, and then collapsing on the sofa as if I have run a half-marathon :)
I read your latest blog post last night (or this morning? I am a bit fuzzy) and really enjoyed it. It has been like having wonderful magazines at my fingertips!
:)
