Reflecting

The trouble with blogging is that unless you have an incredibly well drawn map of the boundaries of your cyber-space, there are events that unfold which necessitate a lot of stewing over whether it is right to blog about them. Stuff that feels too big to miss out, but equally too big to slip in between three cat pictures and a grape chutney recipe.

Dilemmas.

But in the meantime, what amazing light we had today. And, as it happens, tonight too. The day-old harvest moon is filling my bedroom with blue light so bright I could read by it. Must make those curtains!

Your amazing light makes for some great shots, shadows and reflections. The handsome cat doesn't hurt, either! Enjoying the same brilliant moon light way over here. The nice thing about blogging is that you get to pick and choose what you do or do not write about and you have all the latitude you could ever want. Pick your own parameters!

Oh yes. I know JUST what you mean. :-)

Isn't the moon wonderful? It accompanied me all the way home on the train last night ...

And you know I love the pictures.

Thanks MB - you're right, it's my line to draw, and that's a real luxury. Yes, having such a confident photographic model to feature is a big plus :)

Mary - thanks for relating :) Tonight we're mid-downpour after another unseasonably hot October day, so the moon is hidden behind storm clouds, but the sky still feels lighter than it should. Amazing.

The thing is, I thought this related to me, and that felt uncomfortable. And I think things are 'being read into' that aren't necessarily there, and anything I've said can be fully substantiated, and I would never consider anything more than a general process that's true anywhere, anytime in human history... and I'm comfortable with these parameters... but we each need to decide our own.

So I didn't want to click in, no, not at all, but then I did and saw these marvelous photographs that are a perfect accompaniment for the difficult questions you so importantly ask.

Brenda ... :) Lovely to see you!

Not quite following you ... but if it helps, the thing I wasn't sure whether to blog about was to do with my health ... and a dramatic interlude that was kind of scary at the time but also a source of valuable learning. Maybe I will get up the courage :)

Glad you liked the pictures!

xx
